Join retired University of Minnesota Extension Educator Wayne Martin to learn about chicken breeds, purchasing birds, and regulations to follow.He will also cover the daily care of chickens, including their diet, housing, health, sanitation, manure management, and egg production.
This course is accepted by MPLS Animal Control to qualify participants to receive a permit. It is mandatory for permit holders of backyard chickens or other permissible fowl to attend a recognized class within a year of submitting their permit application.

Cancellations made more than 3 days before the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made 48-72 hours before the event date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 48 hours or less will not receive a refund.
