Getting Started

Go to Eastside’s homepage (eastsidefood.coop) and click the ‘Shop’ button in the upper right corner to enter the Eastside To Go (ETG) portal. Click ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner of the screen to create an account.

Co-op owners: Enter your owner number, email address or phone number associated with your account. Then click ‘forgot password?’ to set up a password for your account.

    • Choose how you would like to receive your temporary passcode. When you receive it, enter it into the platform and reset your password.

    • If you’re not an owner at Eastside Co-op, just start shopping. When you’re ready to check out, you will be asked for your information to set up an account.

Select a pick-up time

  • Once you’ve made all your selections, head to your shopping cart to finalize the order. At this point, you have the option of curbside pick-up or delivery through Door Dash, for an additional fee. Select your preferred pick-up/delivery time from the available options.

  • Eastside To Go pick up times are 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., but you can place your order at any time.

FAQs

Why should I login if I am an owner?

When you login, it will automatically apply your member number to your curbside orders. You can also look at past orders and shop right from items you have ordered (or picked up in store) in the past. When you login, you can see if you have any discounts to apply to your curbside orders. Many of the discounts that you would receive in store are now integrated into the online shop.

What if I don’t know my owner number or phone number/email associated with my owner account?

Call the store at 612-788-0950 to retrieve your owner number and or other owner information before completing your online sign up for Eastside To Go.

What if I’m not an owner?

That’s ok! You can start ordering right away. When you go through the checkout process you will be prompted to enter your contact information for the order. This information will be what we use to let you know your order is ready or if we need to contact you about your order.

Are ingredients and allergen information listed in the Eastside To Go platform?

Yes, for most products! If there is a product you would like more information on, please reach out to us!  

Why are some products available to order by quantity but sold by weight?

Some of our products in the online catalog are available to be ordered by unit (or quantity) but are sold by their weight. Apples are a good example of this type of product. Individual apples can vary in size so they are sold by weight. In order to provide an idea of the price for these types of products we display an estimated price per unit in the online catalog.

The estimated price factors in the current price per pound and the average weight of one unit. Because we shop your order after it is placed, we do not have the exact weight, for those variable size items at the time you place your order. Once those items have been picked the exact weight and price is determined.

If you are unsure the weight of an item you are looking for, feel free to leave an item instruction on that specific item with how many you are looking for. 

If something is on sale in store, will that sale also be available on ETG?

Yes! If an item is on sale in store, that sale will be available to you through Eastside To Go. Note that Wellness Wednesday and Meat Market Thursday discounts will apply to orders being placed on those days, not orders being picked up on those days.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

You can either do this on the site itself or you can call the store for help.

Can I place my ETG order over the phone?

No, Eastside To Go orders must be placed online.

When can I pick up my groceries?

Orders are available for pick-up or delivery the next day at the earliest. You’ll be able to select a time between 10am and 7pm upon order completion.

If you receive a “your order is ready” notification that means you can pick up your order at any time, even before your pick-up time slot. That notification signifies we have completed your order and the email that is sent will also list any substitutions or unavailable items. Please call if you have any questions about changes to your order or if you did not receive an email.

Can I change my pick-up time after I’ve placed my order?

This is a case-by-case situation, please call us to see if we can accommodate any pick-up time changes.

Can I round up my purchase to support the Seedlings program?

Yes! You can select this option during the checkout process.

What if I get the wrong item in my order or I need to return something?

Customers can make returns from curbside orders by calling the store or emailing togo@eastsidefood.coop.

Will I get charged the 5¢ bag fee for each bag used in my order?

Due to a city of Minneapolis ordinance, a 5-cent bag fee is applied for each bag used to pack orders.
