Bethune Full Service

Minneapolis Public Schools’ Bethune Elementary is a Full-Service School in North Minneapolis. The overall vision of Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) is to create partnerships between schools like Bethune and local community resources. FSCS focuses on eliminating barriers for students and their families by providing support and assistance in areas like employment, housing, food insecurity, clothing, health, social services, and youth development.

Eastside Food Co-op has been a valued community partner of Bethune/Full Service since January 2023, donating food to our family engagement events. In 2023, Bethune/Full-Service hosted 18 family engagement events and educational workshops. Eastside Food Co-op’s generous contributions to these events have allowed Bethune to provide healthy food options to hundreds of families.
