Zack Avre
Zack is an urban planner passionate about building more democratic, sustainable, and equitable local economies. He holds a master’s degree in city planning and has led community development projects in NYC, Boston, and the Twin Cities. Zack currently manages programs that create affordable commercial space and help local entrepreneurs grow their businesses here in Hennepin County. He is a Fair State Co-op member, serves on the executive board of his union, and volunteers with the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District and the Ronald McDonald House. He enjoys live music, trying new recipes, and spending time with his partner and two cats.
