The upcoming workshop will focus on the Water Element – the element associated with winter. In the Chinese medicine Five Element system, each element corresponds with a different season, taste, emotion, energy meridian and more. During this snowy, cold time of year, the Water element takes center stage in a very quiet way. Water is absolute rest and receptivity and is connected to our inner stores of energy. Water also corresponds to the Kidney and Urinary Bladder energy meridians, which, when functioning in a balanced way, can help you stay grounded in the knowledge that you can handle whatever life brings. This class will be taught by Kim Christensen, L.Ac (pictured)
