Twin Cities Co-ops Donate to Twin Cities Pride

Twin Cities Co-ops – Eastside Food Co-op, Wedge Community Co-ops, Lakewinds Food Co-op, Seward Community Co-op, Valley Natural Foods, and Mississippi Market Co-op - are thrilled to support Twin Cities Pride in their celebration this June. As community-owned cooperative grocers, we’ve always been spaces where every member of our vibrant neighborhoods can find a sense of belonging, friendship, safety, and of course, delicious local food!

Last week, we saw what our friends at Twin Cities Pride were facing with a shift in sponsorships and we knew we had to step up and support LGBTQIA+ folks in a meaningful way. Together, we’re donating $28,700 to support safer spaces at all the Pride events in June.

To our queer friends – we see you, we love you, and we celebrate you every day. You are always welcome at all our co-ops, and we are proud to be your allies all around the Twin Cities.
