In this class, we will cover the importance of flour choice, maintaining your own starter, managing dough fermentation, and baking your loaves at home. This class is perfect for bakers who are new to sourdough or novice bakers who want to further develop their knowledge of sourdough breads.
You will receive a bag of flour to take home and start your Sourdough journey!

Selecting Vegetable Varieties for Your Garden. Ready to be more deliberate in the variety choices you make for your vegetable garden but are overloaded by all the technical information? From sourcing to seed saving, we’ll break down the process of choosing the most appropriate varieties to make your vegetable garden lush, disease resistant, and bountiful. This class will cover common terms and language used to describe vegetable varieties including: types of seeds, growing needs, and harvest expectations The class is taught by the U of M Extension Master Gardeners and includes information for beginners to more advanced gardeners.

The Fundamentals of Hand Sewing with Fiber Works MPLS
Learn the basics: Running Stitch, Back Stitch, Whip Stitch, Blanket Stitch, Catch Stitch, and Invisible Stitch. Then, practice all the stitches by making a tweeting cute bird ornament!
